View Park is a hill top community in South Los Angeles, California. Beautiful palm tree-lined streets. The homes are of various architectural styles several built by Paul R. Williams. Spanish Colonial, Mediterranean Revival, French Normandy Revival, and Mid-Century Modern. View Park was home for many affluent African Americans like Tina Turner, Ray Charles and Tuskegee Airmen just to name a few. Today Megan Markel, the Duchess of Sussex’s, mother Doria Ragland resides there. View Park is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
