Baldwin Hills is a neighborhood in South L.A. named after Elias Jackson Baldwin, a 19th century land development pioneer. The Baldwin Hills Estates Development began in early 1950’s, its mid-century modern style homes with pools and winding streets, is its signature. Just about all the street names begin with the Spanish word “Don”\u00a0 meaning “Sir” in English. It’s surrounded by great outdoor life\u00a0 parks, hiking trails,\u00a0 and so much more to enjoy a clean green lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Baldwin Hills has been home to many affluent Black Americans, doctors, entertainers, entrepreneurs and politicians since the 1960\u2019s.<\/p>\n
